General Information
The Tyke (2004-05) program runs October 1/11-Mar 3/12 at Dickson arena. Games are played Saturday afternoons 1-5pm and Practices are on Monday and Tuesday evenings 6-8pm.
Saturday September 24th-Jersey pickup 11-11:45AM at Dickson Centre.
Tyke classroom sessions: Every player is expected to be in our classroom seesion1/2 hour before their scheduled Saturday ice time. This classroom is part of the program and helps us in teaching and in turn saving valuable ice time. The classroom is located by our hockey office just past the washrooms at the front of the arena. Parents are welcome to sit in. Classes start on the second Saturday of the season and end on the 3rd Saturday in February.
Parents please help us by being on time for these classes. The children will all benefit if everyone is on time. Please remember the aim of the tyke division program is to teach the basic fundamentals of hockey only and is not a competitive league.
required_equipment must be worn at all times when your child is on the ice. This includes our SKATE-A THON and our Awards day.
Please NOTE:
Galt Minor Hockey School holds 2 Power Skate Sessions during the winter season. They are held on Wednesday nights at Dickson Arena.
Session 1 - WED, OCTOBER 19/11 - WED, DECEMBER 21/11.
Session 2 - WED, JANUARY 4/12 - WED, MARCH 7/12.
The cost is $90.00 per session.
This program is currently full. If interested, please go to Dickson Arena on Wed, Aug 24th, 6-8pm to have the player's name added to a waiting list.
SCHEDULE CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Please check your schedule or board in the lobby for cancellations and time changes. It is very important to watch your schedule once the games begin as there are time changes.
