Welcome to House League Phase One!
CMHA is proud to be offering Phase 1 of a safe and fun hockey development program this year!

COVID 19 has affected our community in many ways, beginning with the abrupt cancellation of last season. The challenges will continue throughout our season, as both our governments and governing bodies adjust to this pandemic with continued openings, or adjustments for closures. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask we will do our best to respond to everyone.

Divisional Structure:

This season will be split into approximately 4, 6-week sessions (session 3 and 4 may be adjusted to be one 12-week session). Current division maximums allowed by the province of Ontario is 50 players/coaches. This will allow for 4 teams to play against one another within the same division. Should the number of players in a division adjust up or down we will fill the division using available waitlisted players.

Sessions:

Session One will start as purely development and scrimmages with no refs. In Session Two, our teams will play a modified 4on4 as outlined by our governing bodies. An example of the rules can be found under the Return to Play Information Library.  The number of players on a team will be 9 skaters and 1 goalie.

Evaluation:

CMHA has elected to select teams based upon previous participation and allow the players the maximum number of games/practices per season instead of conducting evaluations. Teams will be filled on a first registered basis. This decision may vary from age group to age group and player movement may occur during future sessions.

Registration:

Registration is closed and presently there is a waitlist. Fees will be posted as soon as the length of the sessions are confirmed. Fees are subject to a one-time insurances fee and due on the first ice time.
