Giving back to the community
The Minor Peewee Select team visits the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank on December 14th.

Community support plays a vital role in many areas today. The Cambridge community has supported the Minor Peewee Select team through donations and sponsorships and as such, the team wanted to give back to the community. On December 14th, the team visited the Cambridge Self Help food bank to assist in sorting donated food collected. In addition the players donated almost fifty pounds of non perishable food.  As the holiday season approaches the team felt as privileged as they are to play the game they love, giving back to the community was a way to help those less fortunate and say thank you for the community support. The event began with a tour of the facility The team got an appreciation of the many programs administered through the Food Bank and the work staff and volunteers do day in and day out to help those experiencing tough times or just need a little help.

Missing were Joshua Pick (illness), Nick Bevan (food allergy) and Chase Wheeler (vacation).
