Everybody shined and it all came together!
Coaches you haven't been wasting your time with these boys! All of your hard work and dedication is coming to fruition! The boys have obviously been paying attention to what you are telling them and it is working! I feel SOOO bad that I forgot my sunglasses tonight because you were ALL shining out there...AT THE SAME TIME...EVERY SHIFT...just as I challenged you to do a few weeks ago!
The arenas are EXTREMLY COLD for those of us sitting in the stands. You boys have no idea what a difference it makes when we see something...ANYTHING to cheer about. An attempt to pass or clear out the puck (even if it is not successful) gets our blood moving. Tonight you gave us that and more..as a hockey Mom...I thank you!
As a Team Manager I am so grateful that I don't have to deal with what the Ancaster Team has to deal with....refs not showing up! We may wish ours didn't sometimes but at least we can always play!!!! HUG A REF!!! The other team seemed to be very sportsmanlike and I commend their players for that. The home game with them in February should be interesting!
The Coach hasn't sent me the 3 Stars so I can't post them yet. I personally feel that Jason should have had a shut out on this game. He did everything but stand on his head to stop that ONE goal!
It's nice that you have fans that aren't even family showing up at your games!! Thanks Kathy for your enthusiasm- the boys all responded to your whistles!!!
Keep up the effort boys at Saturday night's game with Waterloo....make me wear those sunglasses! (I will remember them!) I might not be able to see who is doing what, but does it really matter as long as you are all doing it...and having fun????
