Game On!!!
Now that House league is over for the season we can get back to playing as a team again, instead of adversaries. After a month off you guys pulled it together pretty quickly yesterday!
We are going to make up for lost time by cramming a whole lot of games into the next two weeks. Everyone showed their flexibility yesterday dealing with all of the line changes due to absences and injuries. The team has dramatically improved on power plays since the beginning of the season - 3 of the 4 goals were scored during power plays! We have also noticeably improved on penalty kills...they did not score on us when we were a man down. Try to stay focused on the puck, the other team ALWAYS trys to distract you with petty stuff...but they need the puck to score! Your Captain believes that his team can beat Chedoke, Mountain and Rosedale to get into the semi-finals at the Championship...you need to believe it too!!
