Hawks Double Up Reps 4-2 in Hamilton
The Cambridge Bantam Hawks headed to Hamilton last night to take on the Reps and managed to skate away with a 4-2 victory. The line of Jake Wilkinson, Levi Walker and Austin Spiegelhalter played well in this one with Spiegelhalter notching a goal and Walker and Wilkinson each notching two assists on the evening.

In fact the first goal came only 7 minutes into the game when Spiegelhalter buried a centering pass from Wilkinson after Walker worked the puck free from the corner. The second goal went to defense scoring leader Parker Wood when his point shot found the back of the net through a thick screen. Assists went to Walker and Wilkinson once again.
The third Hawk goal, and what proved to be the game winner, went to Brett Wilson. After some hard work down low by Austin Sine and Alex Ritchie, Wilson was able to walk out of the corner and roof one. Sine and Ritchie were both credited with assists.
After a huge game saving save with the score 3-2 by Owen Savory, the Hawks managed to get their fourth tally of the evening when Alex Ritchie picked up a lose puck in front of the Hamilton net. Assists went to captain Alex Black and Wilson.
The Hawks now head into the weekend to play in the Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament. The first game is at RIM Park (Lions) at 8:30a.m.
