Hawks Ousted by Rangers
The Bantam Hawks' playoff run was short-lived as they fell 4-1 last night to the Kitchener Rangers. Kitchener wins the best of 5 series 3 games to 1. The lone Hawk goal came in the final two minutes of the game ending what would have been goal tender William Rawski's third consecutive playoff shutout.

Austin Spiegelhalter was able to jam home a lose puck in front of the net. The lone assist went to Jake Wilkinson. The Hawks threw everything they had at Rawski in this one resulting in NUMEROUS fantastic scoring opportunities that included shots hitting posts and crossbars. But in the end it wasn't the boys' effort or work ethic;  it was their inability to bury their chances (in all the games)  that led to the defeat.

Best of luck to the Kitchener Rangers as they continue their playoff run next week.
