Hawks are the Hespeler Olympics Gold Champions!!
In their first matchup the Hawks dominated Guelph with a 6-1 win.
Later that day the Hawks went on to play Georgetown and walked away with a 11-0 win. The next day of the tournament provided a challenge for the Hawks and they tied Niagara Falls 3-3. Their next matchup was against the Brantford 99ers and the Hawks triumphed with a 15-0 win.
Their excellent record and outstanding play in the round robin put them in 1st place going into the semi finals.
In the semi finals the Hawks beat Guelph 7-1 to move onto the championship game against Niagara Falls.
In the championship game the Hawks scored early and kept the goals coming. They won the game 6-0!!
The Hawks were unstoppable throughout the tournament with both goalies earning shutouts! Many Hawks players also scored their first goals in the tournament.
Excellent team work and determination lead the boys to triumph!!
