INVITATIONS - EMAILED
As of Monday night all invitations have been emailed and acknowledged.
The Tryout invitation list is complete.
The list was assembled after the Select coaching staff observed the original house league tryouts and then each and every game of the first 4 weeks. Each head coach also made recommendations from each of their squads.
Players were ranked by position and a limited number per position were invited.
It is the intention of the coaching staff to have a balanced lineup with left and right shots playing in their correct positions. Some positions had more depth and made the final invite decisions very difficult.
We hope that all the players in house league recognize that the Select team is a team first, and not a collection of all-stars. It should also be noted that its still very early in the season and some players not chosen at this time will progress to become very solid players over the course of their house league season.
The selection process required watching over 70 players on 6 teams. A daunting task to say the least.
We hope all those invited have a great time this weekend and we look forward to assembling a competitive team.
