Friday Night Tie
The Hawks travelled to Burlington for a rare Friday night game.

Ethan McCoy was still up from Novice White helping out on defense paired with Andrew Corbeil.

Down 1-0 with 5 minutes left in the first period, the Hawks got on the scoreboard with a goal from Alex Deeb.  Deeb knocked in a rebound after a shot from Nolan Branco. These two, along with linemate Justin Vandervelde, are always going to the net looking for the dirty goals.  After that first goal, the same line went to centre ice for the faceoff.  Ten seconds later, the Hawks were up 2-1 when Nolan Branco scored off the draw.

Burlington was able to score again in the second, tying the score at 2-2.  Unfortunately, despite a valiant effort, the Hawks were unable to get another goal.  Aidan Bryans was in net for the Hawks and kept Burlington off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game.

Despite the game ending in a tie, the Hawks showed some good skill out there.  They were shifting positions with ease and running the breakout.
