FAVOURITE THING TO DO AWAY FROM THE ARENA: Away from the arena I like to do water sports, ride scooters and skateboards and play guitar.
FAVOURITE MOTIVATIONAL SAYING: Winning doesn't come to us, WE GO GET IT!!!
THOUGHTS ON WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP THE TEAM: Be a good playmaker, deking below the hash marks in the offensive zone only and set up my teammates.
COACH'S TWO CENTS: Over the past two seasons I have coached and the past three seasons that I have been involved with this team, I have to say Kowie is one of the most improved players I have seen. I still remember last season at the practice where it seemed as though something clicked for Kowie and both James and his teammates have REALLY benefitted since then! James has incredible puck handling skills, so good that I often refer to him as "Phone-booth" as I say he could stick handle his way out of a phone booth. James has learned how to work over the last two seasons and as his coach I am very proud of him for that. He is at his best when he is busting his butt to get pucks out of our zone and getting them deep in the offensive zone where he can work his magic. James is going to play a HUGE role over the next 4 games and hopefully helping to propel us into the final 4! I have really enjoyed working with James over the last 2 seasons as not only is he a good hockey player but he's also just an awesome kid! Great job Kowie!!
