U17 Ontario Prospects Cup
Ontario Hockey Prospects Cup comes to Woodstock this spring.

On behalf of the U17 Ontario Hockey Prospects Cup Tournament Director. Here is a great example of why the U17 Ontario Hockey Prospects Cup is a terrific opportunity for not only kids playing Minor and Major AAA AA but also for Junior teams in the OJHL, GOHL, OPHL. Parents of Minor and Major AAA AA kids have always asked the question of " What can I do for my son when he is ready to play Junior hockey in Canada?" Unless you have been specifically scouted by junior team scouts, you need to research junior team rookie camps, register for these camps, drive to dozens of camps all in the hopes of making a junior team. What makes the U17OHPC unique is our staff has contacted every team in the OJHL, GOHL, OPHL to attend. The positive confirmation from Junior teams to attend has been overwhelming.

This event will be hosted at the Woodstock and District Community Complex on Saturday, May 13,  2017. This event is open to players born 2001 and 2000. Participating players will play in a pool A and pool B hockey tournament comprising of 3 games. Each game will be 2 25 minute periods. Participating players will have the opportunity to test their fitness levels through a fitness Combine conducted at St. Mary's High Schools gymnasium located on the premises. Invitations are been sent out to scouts and General Managers of Junior hockey clubs in Ontario to attend. The week following the tournament, player tournament stats including combine stats will be made available to Ontario Junior B and Junior C  scouts and General Managers to review. This event is will be a terrific opportunity for players born 2001 and 2000 to play with and compete against their peers, for those with ambitions to play at a higher level, and to participate in a fitness combine similar to that of the OHL.. This event is also an essential opportunity for Junior teams to be present that are looking to compete and be competitive in the junior market.  Junior representatives will have access to all games and the Fitness Combine. An easy to review program will be made available with information on all participating players including name and number you will find on the tournament jersey, the association the player represents and social media information to contact that player.
