The Cambridge Atom Select Hawks played a pair of games this past week. On Sunday December 18th at the Hespeler Arena against the Brantford 99’ers the Hawks controlled the game, managed to capitalize on rebound opportunities and worked hard together. Brady R. & Hunter B. picked up a pair of points each leading the Hawks to an impressive 6-2 victory.
On Monday the Cambridge Hawks travelled down the 401 to face the Meadowvale Hawks. In this, their first meeting of the year, the Cambridge Hawks created countless scoring opportunities earning them the 3-1victory. A gritty, aggressive forechecking game supported by a defensive core that held the blue-line and limited Meadowvale to under 10 shots. Goalies Owen L. & Ben S. had an outstanding night in net, rounding out the entire team effort.
