Welcome to the U10 AAA tryouts! I am very excited to be the
head coach of the 2023-2024 U10 AAA Cambridge Hawks.
I wanted to provide some information to everyone regarding the
tryout process, starting Monday April 24, 2023. As you can see from the schedule,
it is a very busy week with ice times all 7 days during the AAA tryout window.
When you arrive on Monday night, there will be someone at the
front desk to check you in and provide you with a tryout jersey. If you have
not registered or paid for tryouts, you will not be permitted on the ice.
Please ensure you have proof of registration & payment, in case there is any discrepancy with the
list provided by CMHA.
All zone players (Hespeler, Ayr, Plattsville) must have their
Permission to Skate form from their local association, as well as be registered
and paid for tryouts through CMHA. The Permission to Skate forms will be check
at registration.
Any players trying out from outside the Cambridge AAA zone,
must provide the following in order to tryout:
§
Proof of Registration for the tryout
§
Proof of payment for the tryout
§
F1 waiver
Without
providing the proper documentation – the player is NOT PERMITTED on the ice.
Tryout evaluations will be conducted by a group of independent evaluators, along with myself.
Players at U10 are entitled to a minimum of 3 tryout evaluations,
as per the CMHA policy. Therefore, based on our tryout schedule, each player
will receive the 2 tryout skates and a minimum of 1 tryout game in the process.
Tryout updates, such as releases, game lineups, etc. will be
provided through the U10 AAA team site, in the tryout list tab.
If you have any questions regarding the tryout process,
please feel free to contact me. Good luck and I look forward to seeing everyone
on the ice this Monday!
