First off I just wanted to say how proud I am of every kid's efforts out there for the tryout process. No matter if your kid has made the team or not I want you all to understand this is not an easy process for any coach.
Also this year I tried some new things by talking to each kid. As well as giving several group reminders about effort, paying attention, focusing on the details, as well as attempting to improve technical skills. This moving forward, while numbers are likely to increase, especially next season are not likely to happen. Even if I were to get next years team. My attempt was to give every kid out there a fair chance at the expectations moving forward. There were some tough decisions this year without a doubt and these decisions were not made lightly with several other outside perspectives and evaluators at play.

To those of you who have not been selected you should be very proud of yourselves and not give up, if making a travel team continues to be your goal, keep working hard and having fun this season.
