Hello Everyone!!
I wanted to take a moment and welcome everyone to CMHA Minor Atom Division! My name is Sharlie Black and I am the Convener this year for Minor Atom. I have been a Convener with CMHA for over 11 years now and a recipient of the Hank Korec Memorial Award in 2011-20012 season. I am so excited to be starting back in the Minor Atom division and I look forward to meeting everyone this year!! When you see me at the rink, please do not hesitate to stop by and introduce yourselves! Now for some notes on the Evaluation weekend...
Our Evaluations are this weekend:
Saturday, Sept 27 - Duncan Mac from 0900-1200 Noon
Sunday, Sept 28 - Ice Park from 0700-1000am
There will be team lists posted outside of each change room, please ensure your child wears the corresponding numbered pinnie listed beside his/her name. This will help the coaches evaluate the players fairly.
After the final evaluation on Sunday morning, all 6 head coaches and myself will conduct a "mini draft". We will try to even out the teams as best to our ability at this time. Once the teams are made, you will be hearing from your son/daughter's Head Coach by the evening of Thursday, October 3rd. If you do not receive a call, please feel free to contact me.
