Sorry I am a bit late with my Welcome Back news article! Was having computer issues!
I just wanted to write a quick note welcoming everyone back to another great season of CMHA hockey! For all my new players this year, Welcome to your first year here at CMHA! Our Atom division is a small one this year, but it is shaping up to be a very exciting one so far!! Please remember there will be a Christmas Tournament between Christmas and New Years within our division. I do not have the dates and times yet though. Please keep in mind the games will be during the week days at any given time.
Once the schedule is out, I will make sure everyone is aware. If your son/daughter cannot make any of the games, please make sure to make your Coach aware.
TIME KEEPERS - the Home team of every game has to supply a time keeper to run the clock and record information down on the game sheet. Each team will need volunteers to do so. There is no age limit requirement as long as the game sheets are legible. There can even be one volunteer for the clock and one to fill out the game sheet. If you have any teenage sons/daughters, nieces, nephews etc.... who need volunteer hours this is a great way to earn them. I am also contributing a prize for the end of the year. Each time a volunteer runs the clock, their name will be placed in a ballot box to win a $50.00 VISA card. This draw will take place at the end of the season.
If there are several people wanting to volunteer to time keep for your team, please see your Head Coach so they can hand out a sign up sheet.
