Hawks Win the Oshawa Spirit challenge.Hawks win their first game 2-0 against London Green. Johnathan Reinhart with the shutout as the boys played only well enough as they had to. Second game was a step back as they fell to Niagara Falls
4-2 empty netter. Saturdays games proved to be more motivated and started to play to the system,defeating Oshawa 1-0 in a hard fought battle that could have been a better result. Late game on Saturday was against a fiesty Amherst squad Hawks prevailed and won the game 3-1 and seemed to be in control the whole game. Sunday the hawks were flying opening up with a revenge win over Niagara Falls 5-2 and had completely dominated. This set up the Championship game against Brampton with their best effort yet. Playing as a team and believing in themselves they crushed the Batallion 6-0.All the kids played great,final game stats were Alex Mutton had a goal, Cole Cummings had 2 goals and Quinn Diamond had the hatrick. Scott Patton earned the Shutout. Hawks scored 19 goals and had 7 against in 6 games.Way to go Hawks keep this going into the playoffs.
