Hawks entered the contest needing a point to move on to the semi finals.  Sarnia came out strong taking most of the first half of the game to the Hawks.  Only the strong netminding of Cameron Martin and the stingy Hawks defence lead by the shot blocking of Liam Cain kept it close.  The Hawks finally picked up their game and energy in the 3rd and it paid off when Blake Davidson netted his 9th of the year on a pretty dish from Owen Rivard to start the comeback.  Cameron Martin continued to display his solid goaltending stopping 2 breakaways to allow for Davidsons heroics as he scored his 10th of the year with 6:12, again from Rivard.  From there the Sting were lucky to hold on as Cambridge swarmed their zone.  Davidson was the Hawks MVP of the game.  Next up London in the semi finals.
