Welcome to the 2016-2017 Midget Program
Welcome to the Hawks Midget Program for the 2016-2017 season...

Midget AAA Hockey Program

Based on hard work, team commitment and peer respect. The Club Program is focused on the development of hockey players as athletes, community leaders, students and people.

Dear Players and parents,

The Cambridge Hawks Midget Hockey program enjoys a rich and storied history, playing from Galt the oldest arena in the world procuring championships and producing elite hockey players, NHL Professionals, European Professionals, and both U.S. and Canadian student athletes. The program’s success has come from its vision of hard work, team commitment and peer respect. The 2016-17 season marks our anniversary and this coming season we will continue to build on our strengths while working to embrace new and enhanced hockey training both on and off the ice.

From an organization stand point, the Cambridge Hawks Midget program is run as a club program. Similar to a Jr. Hockey program the players will commit to development on the ice, off the ice, as student athletes and members of the community. The opportunity to be part of the community and this storied hockey program will prove to be an excellent foundation in their personal development.

Our goal for continued success and to become a championship team is to continue to strengthen our team with talented young players while assisting them in their personal development. We work with our players to assist them with their personal goals. Each player has a unique goal: some focus on student athletics, others are targeting OHL/QMJHL/CHL/ and others playing the sport professionally. Our program is a great position to launch each player in the direction they are dreaming of going. Our coaches, advisory and mentors are supportive and committed to helping each player’s hockey aspirations a reality.

We will introduce our 2016-17 programs as part of a Developmental Camp evening in cooperation with the Cambridge Winter Hawks Junior Hockey Club on April 28th , with an information session from 7:30-8:30pm and ice following. Additional ice times will be on May 3rd & May 4th all details can be found on the Cambridge Hawks Midget site.

The program will include on ice sessions, office sessions, review of team analytics, overview of facilities and guest speakers from the OHL, OUA, US College including both NHL and European hockey professionals during the season.
