The Minor Bantam MD Hawks bring home the hardware!
The Minor Bantam MD Hawks had an amazing
undefeated weekend at the John MacDonald Memorial tournament in St. Catharines.
With 3 victories under their belt, they advanced to the semis on Sunday morning against the London Bandits. The Hawks were down 2-0 going into the third but never gave up. The tying goal was scored with 2:40 left in the game and game winner scored with 50 seconds left!!
Off to the finals they go facing the London Nationals. The score went back and forth and ended with a 3-3 tie. As the Hawks headed into over time they had to kill off 1:50 mins of a penalty. At 3:24 mins into overtime the Hawks were able to drive one into the back of the net. Hawks win!! 4-3.
