Start and Finish 2012 Strong
The team struggled at times during the month of December but finished off 2012 on a high note with a big Bang WINNING the Brantford Wayne Gretzky Tournament. Great Job Boys.
To recap the season so far where the team has done very well.
In Sept, Oct they played great hockey with a 5-1-1 record to stay at top of the league.
Then came Nov where they continued to play strong smart Hockey in regular season and tournament play. It all started at the beginning of November when they played in the Niagara Falls New York tournament at the A level and came home with thier 1st CHAMPIONSHIP trophy. They then carried the winning streak into thier season play to stay at the top of the league before going to thier 2nd tournament of season in Cambridge where they lost in the Semi Finals but still continued to play some good hockey. Even though they started to struggle a little still managed a record of 9-2-1.
In Dec we found ourselves in some trouble and it seemed we couldn't get the offence and defence on same page in the same game before heading into our 3rd tournament during the X-mas break. But Santa was good to the boys and brought them back to the way they started the season with a record of 7-4-1 they still continue to develop and play as a team. The proof is in the Championship banner they received at the Gretzky Tournament to take there 2nd Championship out of the 3 tournaments they've played in so far this season.
So to end 2012 our record is 21-7-3 plus 2 Championship titles which is something to be proud of. Lets continue to play together and develop as a strong Tier 1 team as we get ready for 2013.
2013 is around the corner and we still have a few more season games along with 1 more tournament to get us ready for the Playoffs where all the hard work the boys have put in this season will pay off.
