Major Atom AAA Hawks win Preston International Tournament
Submitted By webmaster on Tuesday, January 13, 2015
The Cambridge Atom AAA Hawks were victorious this past weekend in the Preston International Tournament!  The Hawks went undefeated through the entire weekend, scoring 20 goals while only giving up 7.

In the Championship final, the Hawks faced off against the Guelph Gryphons in what was a very exciting game. The first period was very evenly matched and finished with no goals being scored.  The Hawks were down a goal early in the second period however, never gave up and continued fighting to the end.  The Hawks came back to tie the game and never stopped pushing and were able to put another 2 goals in the net to secure the victory.  With some stellar goal tending from both goalies, incredible defensive work and strong power forwards the Atom AAA Hawks were able to celebrate their last tournament of the season with a WIN on home ice!!!
Thank you to all the fans (and there were A LOT of you) that came out to support our team as they went for the gold.

Congratulations Major Atom AAA Hawks!
