Select Convener Wanted

We are looking for a Select Convener for the 2017-18 Season.




The Select Convenor acts as the eyes, ears and organizer of the Select program and has oversight of all divisions in the select program. Some of the duties of the select convener involve but are not limited to, coach selection, coach orientation, ensuring CMHA protocols are followed in general and with regard to the team selection process, reviewing team budgets, generally keeping coaches informed and updated of topical issues, answering any questions, settling minor concerns as well as many other things, essentially acting as the liaison between teams and the association.

Our league is run according to rules and regulations mandated by the Canadian Hockey, the Ontario Hockey Federation, Alliance Hockey, our own constitution as well as procedures that have proven to work well for us over the years. The convenor plays a major role in assuring that the regulations and procedures are adhered to.
