Atom MD Hawks win Chicago President's Cup
Team Canada brings home the Gold. The Cambridge Major Atom MD Hawks traveled to Chicago for Family Day weekend to play in the President’s Cup Hockey Tournament and won all 5 of their games to capture the Squirt A Championship.
The Hawks, having each completed a player profile on a member of the 1972 Team Canada Summit Series, sported that team’s jersey for this event. The excited Hawks were relentless with their attack, scoring 34 goals while only giving up 4 all weekend.
In the final, the Hawks defeated the Affton Missouri Americans to capture the title.
