House League Day of Champs
Submitted By webmaster on Monday, April 1, 2019
Another year of House League hockey comes to an end with our fantastic Day of Champions (DOC).

Our tireless DOC Team of Sharlie, Terri, Joanne, Tammy and Mike along with their group of hardworking volunteers and “volun-tolds”, once again outdid themselves and gave our players and families a hockey day they will never forget.  As seamless as the day appears, I can assure you the workload can be staggering and we all should be extremely grateful for the effort this dedicated group puts out for the kids.  I have had the good fortune of being associated with the DOC from Day 1.  First as a coach and now as one of the volunteers and I can assure you each year an attempt is made to make it better than the last.  As we look forward to celebrating 25 years of Day of Champions, the planning has already started for next year.

I know that many families expressed their appreciation over the weekend and I thank you for taking the time to do so. On behalf of our entire membership, thank you DOC Team for an event that is second to none.  You are all amazing people.
