Midget A team win Collingwood Tournament
Submitted By webmaster on Monday, October 21, 2019
The Major Midget A Hawks took their talent to the ice this past weekend in Collingwood for their first tournament of the year.

After finishing 2nd in their division with a 1-1-1 record they played the semi final saturday night against Georgina. It was a hard fought battle with the hawks tying it up in the third taking a 3-3 score into overtime. 5 minutes 5 on 5 solved nothing and during the 4 on 4 portion of overtime a shot from the point found the back net sending the hawks to the final.

During the final against Lambeth the Hawks scored 3 goals in the first half of the game and cruised to a 4-1 victory taking home the championship.

Congratulations to the boys and their coaches!
