Minor PeeWee AAA Hawks win Blueline Tournament
Submitted By webmaster on Tuesday, November 12, 2019
The minor peewee AAA Hawks continued their hot streak by taking the title at this weekend's Blueline tournament in Kitchener.

It wasn't easy and the boys had to battle back a couple of times in the round-robin but their resilience earned them a playoff spot and a chance to redeem themselves against Guelph in the semi-final.

The Hawks came out like a team determined to make up for the round-robin loss. Taking the lead early and not letting go finishing with a 2-1 win over Guelph and a spot in the final.

In the final the Hawks faced a familiar foe from Kitchener. The Hawks found themselves down early but there resilience was be on display again in the third.  The boys battled back from down 3 nothing to force a 3 on 3 overtime. Early in the overtime tournament MVP Cunningham Louks went end-to-end and finished it in style giving the Hawks their first tournament title of the season.

Congratulations Hawks!
