Prep Skate Registration - Now Open (U10-U18), News (Cambridge Minor Hockey)

Welcome to the Registration Page for the Spring Prep Phase Sessions. Cambridge Minor Hockey Association is again offering Prep Skate sessions for currently registered CMHA players who would like to stay on the ice between the end of our current season and the start of the 2026-2027 player evaluations in April. 

Registration is now open for prep skate registration for U10-U18 (2017 - 2009 Birth Years).

Please read the below information carefully:

Prep sessions are optional. These sessions are not tryouts. No evaluations will take place during prep sessions. 

Your child is not required to attend any of these prep sessions prior to tryouts. 

Sessions are available for registration on a first come first serve basis. Please only register for sessions that you plan to attend. **Withdrawal from any session(s) will result in a $5 per session fee to be applied. Cancellations after March 25, 2026 will not be refunded.  

All sessions must be paid in full prior to being permitted on the ice. 

Please register for the appropriate age and session(s) your child wants to attend. The age group will be for the 2026-2027 Playing Season. You can register for any number of sessions for your child's age group, as space permits. You must register for each session your child wants to attend. The cost of each session is $25.00. 

Prep sessions are only open to Cambridge players who are currently rostered with Cambridge Minor Hockey Association for the 2025/2026 season or playing in a center that is NOT offering prep skates. 

**If there are less than 18 players registered for any one session, CMHA reserves the right to cancel and/or change the date, time, and location of the session. If a session is cancelled, a full refund will be issued. 

U8 and U9 prep skates will take place in the fall prior to evaluations.
