Submitted By Cheryl Podger on Thursday, March 29, 2012
The Cambridge Bantam AA team won the Alliance Constellation Championships on Tuesday, March 27th.

It was an accomplishment for the Bantam team to make it to the AA loop this season, not only did they make the AA loop but placed 1st in that division.  This earned the team a Bye in the 1st round of Playdowns.  The Hawks faced the Sarnia Sting in the Semi-Finals beating them 3 games to 1.
For the Final Series, the Hawks faced Kitchener whom they went 1-1-1 against in Regular Season play.  Game 1 ended in a 5-3 loss and Game 2 ended in a 4-4 tie.  The Hawks rallied from there going on to win 4 games in a row and winning the Championships.
The team will compete in the OHF Bantam AA Championships in Vaughan, ON April 13-15th.

Congratuations to the team and good luck at OHFs.
