Week #7 games - tight hockey.
The Stars and Flyers matched up for the 9AM game. It was quick start for the Stars taking a two nothing lead in the opening minute. Nathan #30 scored first assisted by #16 Owen followed up by Owen again with a goal and assisted by #11 Ethan. From there the scoring stopped but the action kept a high pace. With both teams helds extended plays in the opposing end. In the third period #14 Logan for the Flyers scored assited by #11 Justin. As the time drew to an end the Stars kept the one goal lead and won the game 2-1.
Game two match up saw the Penguins and Leafs. First period aciton saw a goal from each team. Penguins #6 Eric scored first which was answered by #15 Tyson of the Leafs. The second period action saw two goals by the Penguins. First by #9 Adam assisted by #2 Sam followed by a goal by Caden #8 assisted again by Sam. The Leafs scored halfway through the third, unassisted by #3 Jesse. Penguins won 3-2.
Bruins and Habs played the final match up for Saturday morning. The Habs took a two goal lead in the first period. Scoring first for the Habs Hunter #8 assisted by #9 Cole followed up by two goals by #12 Jordan both assisted by #11 Ryan. That put the Habs up 3-0 going into the third. But after several very close scoring chances the Bruins #14 Dre put one between the pipes. The Habs answered with a second goal by #8 Hunter assisted by #11 Ryan (his third assist of the game). The Buins #9 Steven answered, assisted by Dre #14. However it wasn't enough as the final seconds counted down finishing the game with the Habs winning 4-2.
