Week #8-bottom on top
This week the bottom three teams in the standing left Duncan McIntosh with wins.

This brings the points standing after week #8 to an amazing 2 point spread from first to last with 4 teams sitting with 8 points.

First game action had the Bruins visiting the Penguins.  After a scoreless first period Penguins #4 Ty opened the scoring in the second period. The Bruins answered with two goals by # 8 Ethan.  The Penguins retaliated in the final seconds of the period with a goal by #15 Kyle assisted by #14 Brandon. The third period was all Bruins on the score sheet as #14 Dre banked a hat-trick and #4 Isaac cashed in for a goal. The final tally was Bruins 6 Penguins 2.

In the second match-up had the Leafs hosting the Flyers. Scoring started in the second period with three goals by the Leafs. Jesse #3 pick-up two goals and #6 Scott grabbed the third.  The Flyers answered but no until last half of the third period with two goals, first by #11 Justin and the other by #8 Pierson.  In the final minutes the Leafs added two more goals to their count. Jesse pick-up his third of the game for a hat-trick and #15 Tyson put one between the pipes. Zachary #8 assisted on two goals.  The final was 5-2 for the Leafs.

The last match of week #8 was the Habs hosting the Stars. In this very tight match-up there were plenty of scoring opportunities but the puck managed to stay out of the net all but three times.  Owen #16 and Nathan #5 scored for the Stars. Nathan ran the length of the ice on a beautiful breakaway goal For the Habs #16.
