Novice Timbit Habs win Cooksville Tournament of Champions
The Cambridge Novice Timbit Habs went undefeated in four games and took
home the championship in the Cooksville Tournament of Champions held in
Mississauga on January 17 and 18, 2015.
The final game against the Wainfleet Wild was very exciting. It was a close game with goals being exchanged between teams until the Habs prevailed with a final score of 4 – 3. Great coaching by Darren Juneau and Ivan Merida combined with the team’s hardworking attitude showed in every game.
Nick Kimmich was stellar in goal including one shut out. Mac O’Neill led his team in scoring with two hat tricks. MVPs were Zachary Falk, Matthew Burke, Nick Kimmich, Keenan Melo and Best Sportmanship was Jack Hookey.
Great teamwork by the forwards and defence led this team to success.
Congrats Timbit Habs!
