U15 & U16 Combined
Hello CMHA U15 & U16 Parents & Players!
You may have noticed, the U15 page is no longer available. Here at CMHA we strive to make the House League experience as fun and rewarding as possible. Over the past few days we experienced some decline in numbers for U16 and we had come up short 2 goalies for the division. Rosters were around 8-9 players per team. With such small benches, the experience would be less than fun and could potentially lead to several forfeited games if players could not attend games.
After conversations and discussions with the current/past Convenors for the U15 & U16 Divisions, a solution was formed. U15 & U16 are to be combined to make a 6 team division. Bench sizes are 12 -13 players, including goalies and with combining the good news is, we have enough goalies for each team.
We all know and understand the roller coaster ride these first few weeks have been. We appreciate your patience and support. We are trying our best to make every change as seamless as possible.
Games will be on Saturdays at Duncan Mac

All games will be 1hr in length and consist of 3 x 10min stop time periods
Practices will be on Sundays at Dickson arena

This weekend coming October 9 &10th will be our 2nd evaluation weekend, but our first will the divisions combined. You will be getting an email with your times for this weekend. Pinnies will be worn and the process will still be the same. On Saturday, October 9th, the evaluation time slots are games with Officials. On Sunday, there will be drills & possibly a small scrimmage. (depending on player numbers and on ice helpers)
Lee-Ann Flood is still the Convenor, and we are very grateful for her stepping up and volunteering!
