Getting to know Coach Jason:
What inspired you to become a hockey coach?
I love the game. I have had a lot of great coaches in the past. They taught me how to play the game the right way and I want to continue to pass that along.
How do you foster team culture?
By establishing clear team goals right from the beginning of the year. Building trust between the team and coaching staff, and making sure that there is an open line of communication between the players and myself.
What does it feel like to be coached by me?
You will be pushed to do your best 100% of the time. You will be pushed, challenged, and given constructive feedback.
What do you want your players to learn or take away from this season?
What you are willing to put into the game is what you will get out of it. If you are not the most skilled player then you need to be the hardest working player. I would also like them to become better people away from the rink as well.

Montreal Canadiens
Who is your favorite retired player? Favorite Current Player?
Retired: Forward Mario Lemieux, Defenceman Ray Bourgue, and Goalie Patrick Roy
Current: Brendan Gallagher, Cale Makar
