INTRODUCING OUR U14 AAA HEAD COACH FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON KYLE TAVARES Getting to know Coach Kyle: What inspired you to become a hockey coach? After I was done playing hockey I decided I knew this was going to be my next step to stay in the game. How do you foster team culture? Fostering team culture for me is basically going after a tournament or after away games like in Windsor where we have team dinners or do a little activity of laser tag which will promote a working team effort. What does it feel like to be coached by me? Being coached by me will be a relaxed feeling where these players will make mistakes and it will be my job to help them correct it and not feel disappointed in themselves for making a mistake. What do you want your players to learn or take away from this season? The biggest thing I think is to become the best version of themselves on and off the ice Who is your favorite NHL team? Montreal Canadiens Who is your favorite retired player? Favorite Current Player? Patrick Roy & Alex Ovechkin 2025 Stanley Cup Champs are... Winnipeg Jets or Washington Capitals Who is your favorite music artist? Don't have one as long as it is not country Away from the rink you will most likely find me... Watching sports on tv or back at the rink watching my daughter play hockey.
