INTRODUCING OUR U1 AAA HEAD COACH FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON KEVIN CLANCY Getting to know Coach Kevin: What inspired you to become a hockey coach? Two fold actually, it gives me the ability to give back and teach the fantastic life lessons that I learned coming up thru the system. Watching a player strive to reach a goal, working thru setbacks and achieving it is such a great feeling of accomplishment for both player and coach. How do you foster team culture? We start day one. Our home is the most fantastic arena in the area and has a ton of character. We now carry that torch of the players whom have played before us and wanting to rise to the occasion. Thru daily habits we have a process that everyone lives up to and it is those habits that affect of culture and team chemistry. What does it feel like to be coached by me? If you want to strive to be the best version of your hockey-self, we put a path together to help get you there. But the player (and Family) has to put in the time and effort. What do you want your players to learn or take away from the season? A feeling of accomplishment. We grew immensely over the season and became a competitive hockey Program. The links of the chain grew stronger and thus, so did the team. Who is your favorite NHL team? 2 teams - The Redwings and whomever is playing the Maple Leafs. Who is your favorite retired player? Favorite Current Player? Steve Yzerman all around complete class 2025 Stanley Cup Champs are... Its a race to the finish with no clear frontrunner yet however defense wins championships and Rod Brind'Armour has created a culture of a locked down tight defensive zone. Who is your favorite music artist?
