Getting to know Coach Carl:

What inspired you to become a hockey coach?

I was inspired to be a hockey coach after helping coach my two kids all through CMHA. I learned a lot along the way with some very great people. I continue to be a non parent coach for 3 years because I enjoy watching kids develop good attitudes, work ethic, meet new friends and above all have some fun.

How do you foster team culture?

I foster team culture by creating a team first environment where no one player is better then the other. Working hard pays off to the whole team. Positive attitudes always prevail.

What do you want your players to learn or take away from this season?

I would love for my team to learn how to become a very positive person and learn the skills of hockey as well as prove to the young athletes that hard work does pay off
