REFEREE RE-CERTIFICATION 2020-2021

I've included the information you may need below to complete your re-certification.
2020-2021 RECERTIFICATION - REGISTRATION
**Officials are NOT be eligible to officiate any hockey until they have completed all the applicable steps listed below:
- Step 1 – Criminal Record Check
All officials 18+ must confirm they comply with the OHF Criminal Record Check Policy and have a valid check on their eHockey profile. Click on the link above for instructions and documents.
- Step 2 – Complete HC Planning a Safe Return to Hockey Course
Complete the mandatory Hockey Canada HU-Planning A Safe Return Course which is a prerequisite for registering for a Recertification Clinic. The program looks at some key information to know to help to reduce the risk of COVID-19 in the hockey environment - there is no cost for this course which is approximately 20 minutes in length. Click on the link above for access to the course.
- Step 3 – Review Recertification Letter & Register
Review the ALLIANCE Hockey Officiating Program Recertification Letter and complete registration. Click on the links below for access:
- Step 4 – Complete Recertification Clinic
Complete the online Recertification Clinic through the following website: www.hcop.ca. Log in using your eHockey Login information.
- Step 5 – Follow up with your Local Referee Association
Provide your completed recertification clinic certificate to your Referee Association.
- Step 6 – Crossover (Optional)
If you wish to skate with another Member Partner (i.e. OMHA, OWHA), complete the necessary crossover procedure.
- Step 7 – Review Documents
