Another three game week and two more wins have helped the Hawks start to feel prettty good about themselves.
Wednesday night found the Hawks in Brantford , looking to avenge the loss to the 99'ers earlier in the year. Right from the drop of the puck, it was pretty obvious where this one was headed. A fairly quick goal put us ahead and our boys never looked back. The evening ended with a 5-3 win.
It was back to Cambridge to face the Kitchener Rangers on Friday. This game didn't meet with the same kind of success unfortunately. The Hawks fell behind 4-0 before they figured out where they were. Once in the game, however, the red, white and black actually played pretty well. They scored twice to try to make a game of it, but eventually ran out of time, losing 4-2.
Sunday afternoon action was the first meeting against the Lambton Jr. Sting. Out guys sort of ploughed along for a bit and then started to come alive. Four goals were scored in fairly quick order and then they coasted to the end, easily winning 4-0.
Good week Hawks!!
