In one of the more exciting games of the year this see saw battle saw the visitors steel a victory with less than 2 minutes remaining.
The Hornets went up 1-0 early in the second as Alex Davison found the back of the net with a hard low shoot between the goalies legs.  Netminder Wilson continued to keep the game close going into the 3rd period.  Erin scored 2 quick goals to go up by 1.  As the play continued back and forth over the next few minutes it wasn't until with just over 2 minutes remaining Wyatt Carr found the back of the net by out hustling the opposition into the corner and throwing it out front banking it in off the goalie.  The crowd erupted and the bench exploded as the Hornets carried most of the play throughout the match.  The excitement was short lived as off the next face off and in front of a wild scramble Erin found the back of the net.  The Hornets pulled the goalie but came up short.  A very tough match and hard fought game.  Wilson was tremendous throughout the match, as well as honourable mention to Eriq St Jules Jayden Goldrick for his patient play back on D.
