Hawks win Thriller in Ottawa
Hawks arrived in the Nations Capital ready for business. And Business was good!
With solid defense and goaltending, along with plenty of firepower from all three forward lines, the Hawks were rewarded with three shutout games and only 4 goals against, lowest in the tournament.
After beating Ajax, Gloucester and Caledon with relative ease, the squad had their hands full with a come from behind 4-2 victory against the Vaughan Panthers, and the nail biter 3-2 OT victory against the Cornwall Colts in the finals.
Great effort by all and above all great sportsmanship and class. Great work Hawks !!
