Hawks win the MD Festival in a thriller
The Cambridge MD Hawks were victorious as the host in the Cambridge MD Festival tournament. The Hawks went 6 and 0 for the weekend, scoring 27 goals while only surrendering 5.

In the Championship final, the Hawks squared off against the Oakridge Aero's and it turned into a hard fought thriller. With the game winding down and the Hawks down a goal, Camden Naylor found the back of the net with 1:38 seconds to go in the game. This pushed the game into a 5 minute overtime period and the Aero's held off a furious Hawk attack to send the game into a shoot-out. The initial 3 shooter portion of the shootout ended in a draw with neither team able to score. The shootout now became "sudden death" and the both teams stopped the first 2 shooters. Pierce Waigh, stellar all game, stoned the 6th Aero shooter to keep the tie intact. This brought on the 6th Hawk attempt at ending this game and Nicholas Taylor was equal to the task, finding the 5 hole and ending this battle.

The Hawks had won their second tournament of the season.
