Hello Devil Nation!!
The Atom Devils held their first bottle drive of the season today in Coach Andy's neighborhood. Although the weather did not seem to cooperate with the sunshine we were promised, the afternoon was a successful one!!
We started off on Kovac Road, which seemed to be a very slow start. Once we crossed over Munch to Sekura the donations seemed to pick up a great deal!
Players who attended were Josh M, Ben R, Matt M, Isaac Lang, Nikolaos B, Nick J and Brady M. Ben's Dad and Coach Andy pulled their trucks around when it was time to off load the wagons when they were full.
At the end of the outing, everyone came back to Coach Andy's house so we could sort the bottles/cans and box them up to take them to the Beer Store. Once this was completed everyone took some time to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies from the Timmies run Ben and Coach Andy did.
In total we raised $290.10!!!! This total includes contributions from Noah F and Romeo B who collected bottles/cans on their own!!
Way to go Devils!!
