FAVOURITE THING TO DO AWAY FROM THE ARENA: Hanging with his friends, biking, scootering and playing soccer. Dawson also enjoys playing Mindcraft / video games and building forts with his 2 year old nephew.
FAVOURITE MOTIVATIONAL SAYING: ONE SHOT, ONE GOAL, NOT LUCK, JUST SKILL!
THOUGHTS ON WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP THE TEAM: Encourage teammates by being a positive example and never retaliating against a player on the other team, listening to the coaches and being respectful to all players.
COACH'S TWO CENTS: Eddy is another new comer to the MD HAWKS this season and what a great season he has had. As expected, it took Eddy a bit of time to get used to the life of a travel hockey player but he adjusted well and is definitely at the top of his game right now. Eddy has great puck sense which is just a natural gift. He was challenged at the start of the season to work on certain aspects of his game and his skating and it is noted that even though we are 5 months into the season he is still working on those skills we discussed back in September...to a coach it just shows a desire to improve and that he has put his trust in us to help him succeed. Eddy has exceeded our expectations when we selected him to play for the HAWKS this season and he will play a HUGE role in our success in the playoffs. Dawson is developing himself into an excellent hockey player and is already a great kid! Well done Eddy!
