Stewart Quinn, father of goalie Evan Quinn, composed the lyrics and performed all the music for “GO HAWKS!” an anthem already gaining traction in hockey lore.  

Congratulations on a strong performance by the Novice MD team. This team went into their first ever tournament with 2 teams that were made up of mainly 8 year-old boys. Our Hawks showed a lot of character by battling hard in all our games and especially in the Semi finals where we trailed twice in the game and kept battling back to tie the game. Our determination to skate hard and to never give up gave us hope, but unfortunately, we fell short to a strong 8 year old Windsor team. What a fantastic start to the season. We are now 4 and 0 and have outscored opponents 31 to 6. Great to see the scoring starting to spread out among the team. The coaching staff is having a hard time each game to pick the "hardest Worker" of the game as everyone is playing extremely hard to succeed. Our big challenge will come this Saturday verses a strong Kitchener team, but no fear Hawks, we will be in our house... WHO'S HOUSE IS THIS??

Opening weekend and we couldn't ask anything more from our boys. Our Novice MD team dominated Waterloo and Burlington this weekend with an outstanding 18-2 score. It was their smart play and hard work ethic that compelled them to victory. Looking forward to a great season Go Hawks!
