Novice MD Black, 2018-2019, BB (Cambridge Minor Hockey)

As the final 8 games took place  the Novice Black  team went 7  & 1  to finish 1st and claim the League Championship banner

“when you work hard, you get things that nobody can take away from you…….ever. You will forever be a champion” Bryon Box   Novice Black showed that hard team work is what it takes to come out as Champions this weekend. Winning game 1, 3.1. Lost game 2, 2.1 and then game 3 in our House........coming out victorious with another battle and a narrow 2.1 score We could go on all day about this amazing group of 8 year olds..........but we won't, we are going back to work because we want one more check mark on our list. Last weekend our little Hawkers were dealt 2 games at 8am out of the 6 played. This may be a sign they like to play early as they had 42 GF and only 5 GA! As lopsided as it was, it wasour players and Coaches that showed the ultimate sportsmanship..... the Coaches held the boys back and did everything they could to not score 10 goals in a single game! Another highlite of the weekend was each goalie posted a shutout and every player had a goal or an assist on the weekend! Congrats Boys, great team play Next up Hespeler Olympics Go Hawks Go
