Minor Atom AAA, 2019-2020, AAA (Cambridge Minor Hockey)

The Hawks Minor Atom AAA team are very sad that their season has come to an abrupt end. The Hawks have had a challenging season and have made such huge improvements throughout the year.  On Wednesday March 11th the Hawks played thier final game vs. the Kitchener Jr. Rangers, the boys played a CHAMPIONSHIP game and came out with a big WIN, beating the Jr. Rangers 3-2.   Congratulations to the boys on a stellar development year and thank you to all of the staff, volunteers and parents who made this such a memorable season! 

Congratulations to the Minor Atom AAA team who assisted Canada in their quest for the cup this weekend at Nations Cup in Ann Arbor Michigan.  The boys worked hard and showed great sportsmanship throughout the weekend.  The boys won 3 of 5 games with a big Win over Pittsburg Vengeance in their Final game on Sunday winning 7-1 We are very proud of these boys who came together as a TEAM and did it in HAWKS fashion! Thank you to all of the parents, grand parents & siblings who came out to cheer on our team and our nation.

The Cambridge Hawks Minor Atom AAA team worked very hard today collecting 'Wish List' items for the Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario at Zehrs Cambridge Centre.

I would like to congratulate everyone on their hard work during this tryout period.  Final releases have been made.  All remaining names on the Tryout Player list have been selected for the 2019-20 Hawks Minor Atom AAA team.  You should all be very proud of yourselves and I look forward to a great season.  They tryout scheduled for Tuesday April 30th at 6pm at Galt Arena has been changed from a tryout to a practice.  This will be our first practice as a team! There will be a brief parent and player meeting immediately following the practice. Congratulations,  Coach Erik

I was very pleased with the EFFORT level today during our exhibition game.  The Tryout Player list has been updated, if you are not on this list you have now been released from AAA tryouts.  Please understand this was not an easy decision and I truly believe you will succeed in your hockey endeavors this season.  Players assigned a Jersey number will be playing in the game vs. Huron Perth on Sunday April 28th at 2pm.  Please note the change in Arena -William Allman Memorial Arena.  Please be at the Arena at 1pm and ready for an off ice warm up prior to the game.
