Organization - Update from Public Health - as of Today
Submitted By webmaster on Friday, November 27, 2020
Last night the Province has provided The City with further clarification on the maximum of 10 people and allowing parents/guardians to be in the facility.

Per the updated information from the Province, the following applies effective today:

  • The total number of members of the public permitted to participate in an organized activity at any one time indoors in a facility is a maximum of 10 people.
    • The limit of 10 people applies to members of the public participating in the organized activity, not the coaches, officials, trainers, or accompanying parents/guardians.
  • The Regional team has met and is continuing to take a unified approach.  While under the Red-Control Level, employees, coaches, trainers will be limited to the number of individuals registered to the Associations' teams and/or as identified in their provincial association's return to play protocols, which may vary dependent on the organization, in some cases 2, most often 3, provided physical distancing can be maintained. If your organization has a unique circumstance that is not captured above please advise and we can discuss. All people must maintain a physical distance of two meters from anyone else at all times.
  • No spectators are permitted to be in the facility (i.e. media, scouts, friends, siblings, extended family). However, a person under the age of 18 years who is engaged in activities in the facility may be accompanied by one parent or guardian. The parent or guardian accompanying a person under the age of 18 years is not considered a participant in the organized activity and is not included in the 10 person limit above.
