Welcome to the Cambridge Hawks U12 AA/A tryouts! I am excited to be back as the Coach of this years team. The team finished strong last year and I believe we will take a big jump this season.
Tryouts start on Saturday April 26th, 2025.
We have one skating session on Saturday and an intrasquad game on Sunday. Releases will begin after the first session and I will post the names of those players moving forward, if your name is not there, you have been released. I will post the intrasquad lineup for Sunday, after the Saturday session. You will be assigned a sweater number and a colour that you will wear throughout the process. I will be be set up in the lobby with jersey's before the first skate, so please come see me. Please make sure that your jersey's are
untucked so that evaluators can plainly see your number. After these two skates, we will have four exhibition games, please refer to the team calendar for times and locations.
Note: You must be registered for the tryout to get on the ice and be able to provide payment information, if necessary. I can't put anyone on the ice who is not registered.
At any time throughout this process you may receive an email from me offering you a spot on this team along with a link to register your child with this team. Once you accept this offer and register with the team, you are on the team.
Having done this for 25 years, I know that tryouts are a stressful time for all involved. If you have any questions about the process, do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am looking forward to seeing as many interested kids as possible on Saturday.
